Screen Saver

Another still life, completed in April 2003. This one was designed as a companion piece for World Builder. All kinds of divination tools, from the old standby Crystal Ball, to the more modern Computer Keys (you use them like Runes.) But the Reader has wandered off, the coffee is cold, and the crystal ball is showing nothing but the Screen Saver (to prevent Crystal Burn-In, of course.)

Made entirely in Lightwave 7.5, with compositing in Adobe Photoshop to merge several different renders. (I used Photoshop to color the texture maps, too.) The Crystal Screen Saver is Flurry, the default saver for Mac OS X (which isn't quite as nice as the one you can download from Calum Robinson, who wrote the original code, and gave permission to use the image here.) The Astrology sheet is from TimePassages Astrology by AstroGraph Software, used with the kind permission of Henry Seltzer.

Available in two sizes. The "normal" print is 6.5x8 inches, and comes matted on a piece of foam-core board, open edition, signed by the artist. $25 + $5 shipping and handling.

The Big Print is roughly 11x12.5 inches . It comes matted on a piece of foam-core board, total matted size 15x17 inches , limited edition of 100 , signed and numbered by the artist. $45 + $5 shipping and handling.
