This one was an idea that floated around in my head for many years before I finally drew it in 1984.
It shows the Earth Mother, Gaia, caring for her planet.
I did it in Prismacolor Pencil on Canson MiTentes paper. The original was roughly 8X10 inches. I made the planet look like it was glowing against the black paper by filling the area with Gesso before I began to use the pencils on it.
We still have 3 of these available in the signed edition. If you want one, order it soon. When those are sold out, I'm going to remove the buttons at the bottom of this page, and the signed prints will no longer be available.
The print has an image area roughly 6x7.5 inches and comes matted on a piece of foam-core board. Open edition, signed by the artist. $25 + $7 shipping and handling.
