Greetings.
If you have been here before, you will notice that I have completely reorganized. This should make it easier to find what you are looking for, and to move smoothly between the sections of what has become a very large site. I am afraid that this may have disrupted your bookmarks, and if so I apologize for any inconvenience. Everything is still here; it's just arranged differently. This section contains opinion pieces I have written, and links to sites that I consider interesting or important. There are essays concerning Politics, GLBT Issues, and Critical Thinking (so far, the only essay in the General section.) There are also graphics available for use on your websites. Some are political, and some are GLBT Pride. In addition, there are links to topics that I've written about. As you read the essays, you may find that you don't agree with me. That's fine. I don't really expect you to; nor are my opinions swayed by agreement or disagreement. I based them on research and Critical Thinking, and only new data will cause me to change my mind. All I ask is that if you do disagree with me, or with anyone else, please keep it on a verbal, non-threatening level. There is no need to strike out violently because we cannot win an argument. In fact, violence, threats, and name calling are a sure sign of someone who cannot support his or her position through facts and logic. You may as well announce that you know that you are wrong. If you do not intend to make such an announcement, then please disagree with calm reason, and verifiable facts. If your reasoning is sound, and your facts are correct, then I might decide to agree with you. In the meantime, please read my opinions, do your own research, and then do your own thinking to form your own opinions. Remember, I don't ask for agreement. Just for you to think things out for yourself, instead of simply repeating what you have heard elsewhere. Thank you. |
