Subtle Body Temple If you click on the Mentor while doing the Door Event, he says; "The journey to the center of the Higher Consciousness is traveled alone. The point is to find the center of you. Our body is made up of energy. Visualize your energy gathering at your center, and breathe into this place. "The golden ball of energy will move to this place of calmness" If you click a second time, he says; "Relax yourself. Allow the golden ball to lower gently." ** Theoretically, after you open the door, the mentor might say, "Very good! You have successfully opened your first gateway." ** The first time, and only the first time, the door opens, after the dancers are seated, a voice says, "To do these subtle body exercises, you must first remove those Magic Rings on your fingers. When you are finished, just put them back on." A different voice continues, "There is an extensive tradition, both East and West, which holds that each individual possesses a secondary, non-physical, or 'subtle' body. Each tradition shares the belief that this 'body' is composed of more subtle matter than the physical body. "Here we will demonstrate how to be aware of your subtle body. "You will be able to learn new skills very quickly. But like all good things, it takes patience, and practice. "We can indeed be glad that we don't have to consciously regulate all our body functions; that we can trust the body to "get on with it," thus freeing our minds for more important matters. If, however, you wish to cooperate with your body's capacity for healing and for knowing, you must be able to bring awareness to your body image. "This body image is called, 'The Kinesthetic Body.' "The breath is cleansing to the body, and oxygenates your blood. It is called 'The Energy Breath,' and it can be used on your journey when you need to get your energy up." ** "To begin, would you please sit with your legs crossed, and raise your arms to 60°, out to the sides, your fingertips curled to touch the pad of your fingers, and your thumbs extended straight up. "Open your mouth, and stick your tongue way out, as far as it will go. Then start to pant like a dog, or a lion (it's sometimes known as 'The Lion Breath.') "Very good. Keep panting, forcing your breath out, and letting yourself inhale naturally. Let the inhalation come in naturally, very good. Keep panting. Yes, force the breath out, that's right, and inhale naturally, very good. Good feelings, yes, feel the energy rising. "Now do this for a few more seconds. Then close your mouth. And now continue the same breath through your nose. Your shoulders are now in a relaxed position, down in back, opening the chest, allowing you to breathe, gently, easily, deeply. "Now, with the left hand, you are offering the energy from within you. Yes, very good, now just keep this going. "Beautiful movement, like two circles together. Keep it going. Your fingers and palms will be tingling with energy that you are both receiving and giving. "Now begin to feel with your hands that you are creating a ball of energy, a sphere of energetic life. With your hands at the bottom of the ball, inhale, and bring the ball up, in front of your body. "Receive this ball of energy now, into your heart. Take it into your heart, or to any part where you feel that you need energy. Yes, bring it to your self, as a gift to yourself." *** If you click on the dancer on the near right, dressed in yellow, a voice says, "Now would you please raise your real right arm, and stretch, sensing the shifting alignment of the muscles all over your body as you do this. Feel the stretch in your fingers, your hands, your arm, your shoulder, your torso. "Now, with equal awareness, lower your arm." "Okay now, repeat this several times. Just raising your right arm, stretching, feeling it, and lowering it. "Now stretch your kinesthetic right arm, your arm of muscular imagination, allowing yourself to experience this as vividly as possible, and lower your kinesthetic right arm. "Now would you stretch again with your real right arm, up, feeling it, yes, stretching, good, and lowering it. "Now would you stretch with your kinesthetic right arm. "Now do the same thing with your real left arm, and then, your kinesthetic left arm, always remembering to experience your kinesthetic arm with as much reality as you had when stretching your real arm. "Now would you raise both real arms over your head and hold them there. At the same time feel your kinesthetic arms hanging at your sides "Slowly, lower your real arms, while you raise your kinesthetic arms, putting as much attention into your kinesthetic arms as you did to your real arms. "Now lower your kinesthetic arms while you raise your real arms. You may even feel them, passing together in the center. "Now lower your real arms while you raise your kinesthetic arms. Continue with this until the raising and lowering of your kinesthetic arms becomes almost indistinguishable from the movement of your real arms. Excellent. "Now be aware of the space a foot or two in front of you. Now with your real body, jump as high as you can into that space. Now jump back. "Do it again with your real body, jumping as high as you can, forward and back. "Now do the same thing with your kinesthetic body, forward and back. "Now do it with your real body. "Now, with your kinesthetic body jumping as high as you can, forward and back.
