Making new Weaves in Corel Painter |
| The Weave Selector Flyout Menu |
Recently I had to come up with some flannel fabric for a project I was working on, and I decided to take advantage of the Weave fill function in Painter to design it. However, when I tried to create new Weaves (as opposed to editing the colors on the existing patterns,) I found that there was no documentation explaining in plain English how to do this. So I figured it out, and now I'm telling you!
If you want to know how to easily create brand new Weaves, click here for the tutorial. It shows Painter XI, but most of this hasn't changed since the beginning, so you should be able to use it with any version of Painter.
