Another bit of whimsy in the series of small prints for small budgets and small spaces.
I did this one in 1985, just for the fun of it. I had been doing some research into armor in general and full plate in particular for another piece; and when I happened to see some seahorses, and thought about how generally prickly they look, the two just came together in my head. This is the result!
I no longer remember what I called it, though. Skyia came up with this title, and somehow it just fits perfectly!
The original was done in Prismacolor Pencil on Canson MiTentes paper, and was just this size.
The print has an image area roughly 3x5 inches and comes matted on a piece of foam-core board. Open edition, signed by the artist. $10 + $7 shipping and handling.
