Air & Fire

A computer piece from 2006; really a re-make of a piece I did back in 1998 as a commission for a man who made incense. (It was great incense, too; but he went out of business. Sigh.) Originally, the fellow in the picture was done in Infini-D using a Poser figure, the background was from Bryce, and the piece was assembled in Photoshop.

For this remake, I redid the background using e-on's Vue Infinite, which does things with vegetation that I could never do in Bryce, or even LightWave (at the moment.) It's all because of the EcoSystems™, which are a whole lot of fun to use. The guy, though, is the original one, with slightly better hair, and the mountains are still the same old Bryce ones (I took the foreground ones into Vue for this rendering.)

The Incense burner was modeled in Infini-D, as well. If you move your mouse over the image, you can see a close-up of it.

The print has an image area 6.25x9.25 inches and comes matted on a piece of foam-core board. Open edition, signed by the artist. $25 + $5 shipping and handling.
